PICTOIMAGE

So Kaylene and I each got the nintendo DS for Christmas and we have been having a blast on them, and today i remembered that i had bought this game for us, which it would allow us to play each other through wireless conection, but i couldn't remember where i had placed it. So today after church i came home and looked for it and after just a few minutes i found in a random place still in the bag. So we pulled it out and played it. I have to tell you that we started playing it at 4 pm and we finally just put it down and its 9:30, yes 5 and a half hours later. we had so much playing it. You have to draw pictures and the other person has to guess what you are drawing and you go back and forth. It is so fun. Kaylene and I can't wait to get Mandi and Alex to join in the fun with us. I have to tell you this funny story, I had to draw the word fart and i laughed so hard i could hardly draw. kaylene thought i was drawing something else which made me laugh even harder. But really it's soooo much fun. So if you have a DS system and your looking for a fun game well there you go, PICTOIMAGE.

Well it's afficial, Reese Jay is now in the police academy. Today was his first day, he came by tonight to tell us of his first day of class and he seems to be very excited. I know he will do well in this field, this is what he has wanted to do since he was a youngster. I am so happy for him but at the same time I am a little worried. When he came by tonight, he was in his academy uniform with his hand cuffs he looked pretty cool and handsome, I wanted to take pictures but he was in a hurry, so I will get some another day and post them another time. Happy New Year.

WOW! It's 2009. It's hard to believe! So I just noticed that its been over a month since I last blogged, sorry about that, life has just been so busy with work and family oh yeah and christmas. Our Christmas was great, Beccie made it home in time from North Carolina to have first Christmas with Reese Jay as a married couple and I was happy for that. We spent our Christmas Eve at the Larrabee home and that was a lot of fun. Christmas morning came and Kaylene and I both got our Nintendo DS' which we haven't been able to put down for a week now, we are having a blast with them.
Kaylene is such a sweet heart, but then again most of you know that already, but for a couple of weeks before Christmas she was hounding me to just open her gift that was for me right then, I told her that I wanted to wait for the big day. When the day came she said open mine first mom, so I told her that if it was that big i wanted to save it for the finale. So when it came time for me to open it I was so excited, I opened it to find the Disney desk calendar that i just love and she gets it for me every year, but then I lifted the tissue paper to find 2 tickets to Dancing with the Stars. OH MY GOSH!!!! Thats's what screamed. I could not believe that this sweet girl of mine went and spent that much money to get these tickets for her momma. She knew I wanted to go soooo bad but that I didn't want to spend the money to go. I love her so much she means the world to me. Well after I calmed down, i just couldn't believe that i was going to see Derek perform. He's my favorite.
We went Tuesday night and it was great. We saw Sharon and Julie there. It was so cute to see the way Kaylene reacted when Lance Bass came out she would scream then sit back and just gush over him, Yes she does know he is gay but that doesn't stop her. She says that if he would give her a chance she would totally change him. HA HA HA!

Black Friday

Yes I am a crazy woman, but I absolutely love to go out at 3:30 in the morning only on black Friday and stand in line for some awesome deals. I look forward to this day weeks before.This year I was a little sad because for as long as I can remember my dear friend and I have gone together and waited in line in the freezing cold and snow just laughing and talking, waiting for the doors to open,open,open! But this year we split up she went in line at Target I sent Kaylene to Walmart for my DS and Beccie waited in line at Walmart for Video's and I was in line at Walmart to get my 42" TV. YES I got it with alot of help from my son, I seriously think if he wasn't there i would not of had a chance. there was alot of big guys there waiting till the time that they could get their TV, and one of them got a little mean with Reese Jay when he (Reese j)tried to move this guys cart out of the way to grab my tv. I had to tell Reese Jay that the TV wasn't worth this humongous guy turning around and decking him, so I saw an opening and put my hands on it and Reese Jay came over and picked it up for me. You know it's sad that this fun day has to bring out the worst in people.
So after I got my TV, I called Reese(he will not do black friday) who was ready for the call to come get the TV. I then headed for Smiths Marketplace(FRED MEYER) for socks and other stuff I can't say cuz I know people are reading this. But the high light of my day was when I ran into Amy Ambler who was 2nd in line at Walmart for the WII who had been in line since 10 pm the night before. She got the WII way to go Amy!
So anyway my day was very successful and i got to hang with my dear friends, Patti,Chelsea, Kaylene,Beccie, Mandi oh and I even ran into Kim and Rachelle, but i have to say I was sad that it was over. Kaylene and i (after a couple of hours sleep) ended our day going to the movies and seeing Twilight, and i was a little worried that I wouldn't like it but I have to say I really liked the movie. Thanks Kaylene for going with me.

My Worst Weekend!

On Friday I got up and took keeters to the bus,then went to Wendy's so we could walk, well as we were walking I started to feel funny, my leg muscles didn't want to work and I just thought it had something to do with the walk we took the morning before. But no, I got home took a 20 minute shower but (which is wierd for me cuz I am usually 10 min tops) I just couldn't get warm. Before i left for work I told Reese that I didn't feel right. So I went to work was there for only about 45 min when all of a sudden I felt REALLY sick. I told the lady I work with that I had better go and I called Tammy Clayton who was so nice to come in and work for me,I got home around 10:25 and crawled right into bed. Yep folks that's right I caught the nasty FLU. I fell asleep by 10:30 am and woke up at 6pm with a high fever i took some tylenol and went right back to sleep,I woke up a couple of hours later drenched,Yay, my fever broke.
So I spent the rest of the weekend in bed. And the good news is that, it's Sunday evening and I am feeling sooooo much better. I am just so glad I have had it now and hopefully won't get it again this year. To those of you that have had it you know what i am talking about and those of you that haven't yet, LOOK OUT!

Beccie and I had a blast planning this special day for Kaylene. Kaylene we want to thank you for being such a good sport at the DI and trying on anything that Beccie and I picked out for you. We love you Kaylene and we hope you had as much fun as we did.
