Well It has been a whole month since I last blogged and I truly apologize for that. Again it has been a very busy month. The first of the month we had a couple of camping trips. We started our month up by Pineview camping with Mandi, Kaylene and Alex Darek with our Neighborhood friends.



Here is Mandi's mansion with the east and west wings, then you have our little tent where Kaylene and I slept. No wings at all, but it was nice and cozy.

Here we all were playing some Philadelpia Rummy which Jenny Stephens won and we had just taught her how to play. Beginners Luck!!!

Here is Little Man Darek finally being able to have full controll over the water spout. He was absolutely loving it!!!

We had a great time as we always do playing games hangin out and just having some good ole girl time. We are already planning on attending this same camping trip next year! I can't wait!

Then the next week we were off to Lodgepole for our last camping trip of the year with our good friends Ryan, Mandi Alex and Derek. We had such a great time.

We are so greatful to have such a wonderful family to hang out with. We really enjoy our time when we are with the Wood family and we hope to have many more years to come of camping trips! We love you guys!!!

Wow it's the last day of July and boy has it been a busy one. So today I thought I would post some highlights of the month.
First of all it's been awhile since I last posted a picture of my grandson. We had the oppurtunity to babysit him one day and of course grandma has to get the camera out and take pictures of this handsome little man. He is getting so big already, the time is flying by.

Then came Stampin' Up Convention in Salt Lake City. Mandi and I both went, we had such a great time. We met new people and learned tons of stuff. The days started 8 am every morning and on one day didn't end till 9:30 pm, they were long days but very well worth going.

They had put this stage together in the middle of this huge room called the gathering place, where we ate. So one day we took advantage of no one on stage and took our pics. I love how they made these look just like the stamping blocks.
This was one of our classes The Make-n- Take. With our new friend Karen sitting next to Mandi, and I don't know who the other lady is.

And for all the rest of the month I don't have pictures but we have been camping( I do have pictures I'll post them later) and family BBQ's, Lagoona beach, Lagoon, and Swimming with friends. It's been a great and busy Month but I wouldn't trade it for nothing. August will be about the same we have 2 more camping trips and Mandi and I are demonstrating several classes, Kaylene will be going back to Weber. So I look forward to it all. Friends + Fireworks = FUN!!!!

Last night Kaylene and I went up with our good friends Ryan Mandi Alex and Darek to the Eaglewood golf course for the Annual Fireworks show.



Yesterday was also Dareks Birthday and we gave him his gift there. And guess what we gave him? Yep a WOODY DOLL!!!

I think he liked it!! How cute is that?
The evening was a little chilly but nothing a blanket couldn't fix, we had alot of fun, the only thing missing was my Hubby (who doesn't like crowds and loud noises) and Beccie, Reese Jay and Jaxson who are at Fish lake. Maybe next year I can get them all there!

Stampin Up Convention

I know to alot of you this is not that exciting, but for me (and Mandi) it's like waking up Christmas morning. I went to the mail box Tuesday afternoon and I pulled out this envelope addressed to me from Stampin Up. I thought it might just be another little brochure from them, but when I held it up to the sun light I could see that it wasn't. I was so excited that I hurried into the house sat down on the couch, took a deep breath and opened up the envelope to find all this inside.
You just can't understand the excitement I felt when I saw my name on this name badge. I immediately texted Mandi and found that she was just as equally as excited as I was. We have 3 weeks till we are going and I can't wait!
Again I know this isn't too exciting to you, but I wanted to share!

My New Friends

Ok..... so I am 41 years old and I haven't played with toys since I was 10. But Kaylene and I went to see the new release of Toy Story 3 last Friday, and if you know me you know that I am a HUGE Toy Story fan, I have loved number One, Two and now Three. Well something came over me last week when I decided that it was time for me to go toy shopping and it wasn't for Jaxson it was for ME!!!
I was so excited when I went into Target, right after the movie, and saw my friends, Woody, Buzz, Jessie and Bullseye, sitting there on the shelf, I could hardly stand it, I had to have them all! So I did it, I bought them all for ME! Now they are sitting on a shelf in my craft room (and no I do not take them down and play with them, but I could if I wanted too) and everytime I see them it just makes me smile.
I know alot of you are thinkin how silly I am being , but there is still a little kid in all of us and I am so glad that it's still there for me.

Kaylene and I went to see the movie again tonight and it was even better the second time around! Oh and if you need someone to go see this movie with, I am so willing to see it a third time!!! :)

Whats Wrong with this picture????

The other night (June 11th to be exact,) Reese was watching the news when he saw this story about this airplane, well when it comes to airplanes Reese is all ears, being a pilot and all he loves airplane talk. But when he saw this picture he said to himself no way they couldn't have really done that. So he rewound it(cuz it was being recorded on the DVR) and sure enough they did! He froze the screen and screamed for me to come see,when I came in he said, what is wrong with this picture? I looked it over but I didn't get it at first but then I did and was just amazed.

Just thought I would share some funny stuff with you all. If no one is getting it by Friday which I highly doubt that, that will be a problem, I'll post the answer Friday night.

May 31st

So yeasterday was not only Memorial day but it was my 41st birthday. I spent the morning at work which was fine with me, (holiday pay) then came home, some of my close friends stopped by with birthday wishes and then this little man stopped by to see his Grandma!!

When he first got here he was hungry, so Aunt K fed him then he fell asleep which was fine by me cuz he slept cuddled up on my chest, then he woke up and just before they left I wanted a picture with him, but he decided to get cranky....

But I still think he is adorable!!!

After the boys left, Kaylene and I played Rummy till I couldn't stand losing anymore ( yeah, yeah I am a sore loser, but you would've thought she would've let me win, it was my birthday after all. ) So anyway I had a great day yesterday and thanks to all my wonderful friends for my birthday wishes, you guys are the best and I love you all!
