Conference Sunday
Last week Mandi and I held a stamp camp and Mandi had demonstrated how to make these cool Luminaries for Halloween. Kaylene and I didn't have the chance to make them at the camp so we decided we would make some today. I think they turned out so cool!!! We actually used some Stampin Up designer paper. Pretty Wicked Cool!!
These are Kaylene's Lumninars
Sorry it's hard to get a good picture with the lights out.
And these are mine
We had so much fun making these and the best part about it was that we did it together, which very seldom happens. Kaylene doesn't like to do crafty things, so when she asked me to this I was all over it. And we had a blast!!!
Well besides the plumbing problems my Sunday off from church was awesome, I am still in my jammies and feeling great!!!

Refreshments will be served and we will have some fun giveaways as well! Please join us for a fun morning out with some wonderful friends! See below for the card and projects we will be doing at our camp...
Our first project listed here are the luminaries. I have made 3 styles and you can choose the two you would like to do. There may even be a few other design options for you.
I will provide a LED light for each luminary you do. I really couldn't get a picture that could do these justice while lit up in the dark. But I can tell you that they look pretty amazing!
Next on our list of projects are these adorable boxes. Using the new Halloween designer paper and stamp sets, this box is perfect for favors at a Halloween party or a gift for a friend.
And for our last project, we will be using the new candy wrapper die cut from our new mini catalog. This is a MUST HAVE if you own a Big Shot machine. Whether using regular paper, designer paper or dressing it up to look like a bat, there are plenty of uses for this fun project.
We will get the card posted later so you can see what it looks like. But let us know by this Saturday if you would like to attend the camp. We want to make sure we have enough projects for everyone attending. So leave a comment, call or email if you would like to attend! And, as always.... Thanks for stopping by!!

Snow/Nielsen Cabin Trip

Kaylene and Chelsea have been best friends since Kindergarten, and their friendship just keeps growing stronger and stronger. They truely love each other and think of each other as sisters. When they were growing up they were even asked if they were sisters, cuz they did everything together, they looked and dressed alike, they are the best of friends after all these years!
They even like to do their hair same! Aren't they beautiful???
Here Kaylee and Ciera are showing us all how relaxing is done!
Here we all are Left to right. Ciera,Chelsea, Kaylee,Patti, Russ, Kaylene, Me and Reese! Oh and of course Sammy the dog!
We had such a great time and can't wait till next year!

Our Newest Member of the Fam!
Her name is Lucy and she is about 11 weeks old. The vet told us that this guy had been towing a car from Murry to Bountiful and when they opened the hood of the car there she was. He took her to the vet, thinking they could find a good home for her, and they did! Our home! I really wasn't ready for a new Kitty in our home yet, I kinda wanted to just have seymore, but when I saw her and heard the story, I mean how could I say no? I didn't want her to end up at the shelter or worse dropped off in a field somewhere. So she is ours. We already love her. She is so much fun, and already litter boxed trained!
August
Here is Mandi's mansion with the east and west wings, then you have our little tent where Kaylene and I slept. No wings at all, but it was nice and cozy.
Here we all were playing some Philadelpia Rummy which Jenny Stephens won and we had just taught her how to play. Beginners Luck!!!
Here is Little Man Darek finally being able to have full controll over the water spout. He was absolutely loving it!!!
Let the Games begin!!! Our Winner was Ryan, a big bag of Chocolate!
We are so greatful to have such a wonderful family to hang out with. We really enjoy our time when we are with the Wood family and we hope to have many more years to come of camping trips! We love you guys!!!

July
First of all it's been awhile since I last posted a picture of my grandson. We had the oppurtunity to babysit him one day and of course grandma has to get the camera out and take pictures of this handsome little man. He is getting so big already, the time is flying by.
Then came Stampin' Up Convention in Salt Lake City. Mandi and I both went, we had such a great time. We met new people and learned tons of stuff. The days started 8 am every morning and on one day didn't end till 9:30 pm, they were long days but very well worth going.
Here we are standing in line on the first day waiting to go in.
They had put this stage together in the middle of this huge room called the gathering place, where we ate. So one day we took advantage of no one on stage and took our pics. I love how they made these look just like the stamping blocks.
This was one of our classes The Make-n- Take. With our new friend Karen sitting next to Mandi, and I don't know who the other lady is.
Heres Mandi doing the Macarana!! She's pretty good. Go Mandi, Go Mandi.
And for all the rest of the month I don't have pictures but we have been camping( I do have pictures I'll post them later) and family BBQ's, Lagoona beach, Lagoon, and Swimming with friends. It's been a great and busy Month but I wouldn't trade it for nothing. August will be about the same we have 2 more camping trips and Mandi and I are demonstrating several classes, Kaylene will be going back to Weber. So I look forward to it all. Thanks for stopping by.
