To the rescue

Last Monday after I got off from work I was walking up to my car when I noticed something in the bush right next to my car. I bent down for a better look and saw that it was a bunny. Yep that's right a bunny in the parking lot of Colonial square. I didn't want to pick it up(Iam funny that way) for fear that it might bite but when I showed it to Kaylene she immediately pick this bunny up and of course you know what came next? "Mom can we keep him?" Well we took him home and made some phone calls and after talking to our vet they gave us a number for a lady that rescues animals and puts them up for adoption. So after spending a week at our home (and Kaylene taking very good care of him or her as we found out today,) we took her to this lady. This lady said that the sad thing is that someone just dropped her off in the parking lot cause bunnies just don't sneak out the door and cross the street. I was very sad to think that someone could do that, but very happy to know that she will care for her until she is adopted out. So anyway I thought I would share a photo of our little friend LEO ( we thought it was a boy so we named it that) who came into our lives for a short week. We are very happy to know she will be safe now.

Conference Sunday

Today started out just like every other conference Sunday, I sleep in till 9 get up and make a huge breakfast for the Family and after we have filled our bellies we watch conference. Well... thats the way it went until after breakfast we had to repair our toilet. So reese got busy on that I helped out where I could and by the last hour of conference the plumbing problem was all fixed and up and running again.

Last week Mandi and I held a stamp camp and Mandi had demonstrated how to make these cool Luminaries for Halloween. Kaylene and I didn't have the chance to make them at the camp so we decided we would make some today. I think they turned out so cool!!! We actually used some Stampin Up designer paper. Pretty Wicked Cool!!

These are Kaylene's Lumninars

Sorry it's hard to get a good picture with the lights out.
And these are mine

We had so much fun making these and the best part about it was that we did it together, which very seldom happens. Kaylene doesn't like to do crafty things, so when she asked me to this I was all over it. And we had a blast!!!

Well besides the plumbing problems my Sunday off from church was awesome, I am still in my jammies and feeling great!!!
