Family Update!

I haven't posted in awhile about the kids that are having a kid. They are doing real well, a couple of weeks ago Beccie got real sick and was in the hospital for an IV and some test, after all the test results came back they found out that Beccie had salmonella poisoning from undercookef chicken. (Reese Jay has now learned his lesson on cooking chicken). After some antibiotics Beccie started feeling better.

They are getting very excited for their baby boy to come. Reese Jay is so anxious to become a daddy, it's so cute to see him light up when he talks about it. He said the other night him and Beccie were laying in bed and beccie was cuddled up to his back and he felt the baby move, then after a few minutes he said the baby kicked him in the butt. He said his boy has literally kicked his daddy's butt. How cute is that? Well I think so!

Well that is the update on them.

Back in November Kaylene and I joined in on a weight loss challange that a Boy Scout did as a fund raiser for the Jamboree. Half of the money collected went to him and the other half $375.00 to the winner of the weight challange. So Kaylene and I from the start made a promice to each other that if either one of us won we would split the money, which was awesome cuz we both motivated each other each week to do the best we can. Kaylene and I did very well through out the compition I was even in first place for 2 weeks, but when the final weigh in came around I ended up in 3rd and Kaylene won. I was so happy for her she worked very hard for this and deserves it. Good Job Kaylene!!!!!! I wish I had taken before and after pics of us, she ended up losing 20lbs and I lost 17lbs. We are starting another weight loss challange this coming Saturday. If your interested go to bthebiggestloser.blogspot.com and sign up! Money at the end is always a good motivator, not mention that losing the weight is always a good thing!

AND THE WINNER IS..........
